    • The problem with the video is obviously caused by interference between the rotational speed of the arm carrying the LEDs and the frame rate of the camera. Not sure if there is an easy way to fix this, however, since professional video doesn’t see to exhibit this effect very often these days maybe there is!

      Unfortunately the flicker makes the video almost unwatchable and, I’m sure, does not give a true impression of the actual effect 😦

      • Yes, we are in the process of trying to find a different (probably more expensive!) camera that can do a better job. We’re not 100% sure it’s just to do with the frame rate of the camera, we think it also depends on the exposure time of each individual frame. Hopefully we can get some better footage, because as you say, it doesn’t give the best impression. You’ll just have to take our word for it! The long exposure stills (such as the Death Star) are much better, but displaying static images really undersells the Globe. There have been many POV Globes that can display images/simple animations etc. but we have seen no others with the level of interactivity possible with this one.
